Keith De Cesare's work honors New York’s past, serves its present, and prepares its future. He identifies an urgent need, crafts a practical solution, acts immediately.

Keith De Cesare is exactly the type of “proven doer” the David Prize seeks. For 40 years, he has consistently served community with tangible results on a shoestring budget funded out of his own pocket. But his projects are historic, successful, extraordinary — limited only by his resources.
